A Vestal man was jailed after a drug raid on Pickwick Drive revealed fentanyl, marijuana and cash.

The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force executed the search warrant Tuesday at 713 Pickwick Drive, and 29-year-old Bienvenido J. Aponte was arrested. Vestal police officers assisted the task force.

Police said 20 grams of fentanyl, 34 grams of marijuana, drug packaging materials, scales used to weigh drugs, and $1,133.00 in suspected drug sale proceeds were confiscated.  

Aponte was charged with felony counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance,and two misdemeanor counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia. He was sent to the Broome County jail to await further court action.
