Lawrence couple charged with fentanyl, cocaine trafficking  | Merrimack Valley

BOSTON – A Lawrence couple was charged with fentanyl and cocaine trafficking after an investigation involving state and federal authorities, according to Attorney General Maura Healey.

Arianna Camilo Disla, 32, was arrested in Lawrence on Dec. 6 after investigators uncovered 20 grams of cocaine and 20 grams of fentanyl when a search warrant was executed at her residence, according to a statement released this week by Healey.

She was arraigned in Lawrence District Court on charges of trafficking over 18 grams of cocaine and trafficking over 10 grams of fentanyl. Judge Lynn Rooney set bail at $10,000 cash.

Julio Rivera, 36, was arrested Tuesday after allegedly making several sales of fentanyl to an undercover police officer in November and fleeing law enforcement on Dec. 6, according to Healey’s announcement.

Rivera was arraigned Lawrence District Court on five counts of trafficking over 10 grams of fentanyl, trafficking over 18 grams of cocaine, conspiracy to violate the drug law and resisting arrest.

Judge Michael Uhlarik set bail at $200,000 cash, according to the statement.

These charges are the result of an investigation involving Healey’s Enterprise, Major and Cyber Crime Division, Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Commonwealth Interstate Narcotics Reduction Enforcement Team (CINRET) and Healey’s office, and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

Disla and Rivera are due back in court on Jan. 9 for probable cause hearings.
