CONCORD — A Goffstown man pleaded guilty to taking part in a fentanyl drug trafficking conspiracy, say federal prosecutors.

Jonathan Felch, 37, will be sentenced Sept. 12.

According to court documents, agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration and drug enforcement task force members learned Felch regularly got fentanyl from a source in Lawrence, Mass., and then sold the drug in New Hampshire.

Agents saw him meet with another individual in Lawrence on April 6, 2018, and Felch returned to New Hampshire where he was stopped in Manchester for a motor vehicle violation, officials said.

Officers said they found 18 grams of fentanyl and a digital scale in the car.

“Interstate fentanyl traffickers make a deadly drug available for sale in New Hampshire,” said U.S. Atty. Scott W. Murray.

“The results have been disastrous. It is imperative that we stop the flow of fentanyl into the Granite State by arresting and prosecuting those who engage in this dangerous activity .”

The case was a collaborative investigation involving a host of law enforcement partners, including the DEA, New Hampshire State Police, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Nashua, Manchester, Lisbon, Littleton and Seabrook Police Departments, Massachusetts State Police; Massachusetts Attorney General’s office; New Hampshire Attorney General’s office, Essex County District Attorney’s office and U.S. Marshals Service.

This case was supported by the federal Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force, officials said.
