11 charged in heroin/fentanyl trafficking operation in Worcester – News – telegram.com

Eleven people were arrested and arraigned in connection with “a major opioid trafficking operation” in Worcester, state Attorney General Maura Healey announced Thursday.

Investigators said they seized more than 700 grams of heroin/fentanyl from a drug operation that spanned from the Bronx, New York, to Worcester.

The charges are a result of a wiretap investigation involving numerous agencies, including the attorney general’s Enterprise, Major and Cyber Crimes Division, the Drug Enforcement Administration, Worcester High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas Task Force, the FBI Boston Division, Massachusetts State Police, and local police departments in Worcester, Webster, Fitchburg, Leominster, Lunenburg and Hopkinton.

The following people were arrested and arraigned in Worcester Central District Court:

Huascar Brito-Lavandier, 26, of Worcester, charged with trafficking heroin/fentanyl, 200 grams or more; and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Emmanuel Vasquez, 21, of Worcester, charged with trafficking heroin/fentanyl, 200 grams or more; and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Jose Delorbehernandez, 38, of Worcester, charged with trafficking heroin/fentanyl, 200 grams or more; trafficking cocaine, 18 grams or more; resisting arrest; and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Ricardo Morales, 52, of Worcester, charged with distribution of heroin/fentanyl, subsequent offense.

Jose Lopez-Rosario, 27, of Worcester, charged with trafficking heroin/fentanyl, 18 to 36 grams; and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Joel Rosario, 28, of Worcester, charged with trafficking heroin/fentanyl, 18 to 36 grams; and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Francisco Ortiz-Rivera, 38, of Spencer, charged with trafficking heroin/fentanyl, 18 to 36 grams; and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Luis Alberto Ortega Conde, 28, of Worcester, charged with trafficking heroin/fentanyl, 200 grams or more; and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Fulvio Valdez, 24, of Bronx, New York, charged with trafficking heroin/fentanyl, 200 grams or more; and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Jose Reyes, 38, of Worcester, charged with trafficking fentanyl, more than 10 grams; unlawful possession of a large capacity firearm; unlawful possession of a large capacity feeding device; and unlawful possession of ammunition.

Victor Zeno, 25 of Worcester, charged with trafficking fentanyl, more than 10 grams.
