19 May 2 dead, 1 revived after series of overdoses in Hartford
HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) – Police in Hartford say two people have died and another has been revived after overdosing in the city’s South End.
First responders were called to an apartment building on Maple Avenue on Friday night on reports of multiple unconscious people.
Officials say one person died at the scene and two others were revived with an overdose reversal drug. Authorities say one of the people who was revived died while being brought to a hospital.

Authorities add each person ingested one pill before becoming violently ill and that the provider of the pills died.
Police are investigating the cause of the overdoses and the source of the substance.
There have not been any additional calls to Hartford police for overdoses since.
