Three Providence men have been arrested and face charges resulting from an investigation of a large-scale fentanyl-distribution ring, according to the East Providence police.

The investigation involved the East Providence police vice unit and the Providence police intelligence and organized crime bureau, according to the news release. On Tuesday, search warrants were executed at 32 Burnside St. and 229 Alabama Ave., both in Providence, and on 2016 Honda Accord.

According to the news release, officers seized about 3 kilograms of suspected fentanyl (with a wholesale value of $150,000), 6.4 grams of suspected fentanyl pills, 15 grams of suspected cocaine, nearly $60,000 cash, a kilo press and several cellphones, as well as the Honda Accord.

Officers arrested Andrew Savinon, 29, of 229 Alabama Ave.; Lorenzo Rivas, 23, of 1478 Broad St., Providence; and Erick D. Gutierrez-Polanco, 23, of 54 Mitchell St., Providence, with manufacturing/possession/delivery of Schedule I/II narcotics.
