4 arrested in Stoughton raid; fentanyl, heroin seized – News – The Enterprise, Brockton, MA

Detectives executed a search warrant at a Canton Street home along with a MetroLEC SWAT team.

STOUGHTON — Four people were arrested late Friday afternoon when detectives executed a search warrant along with a SWAT team.

The arrests were the result of an investigation by Stoughton police detectives into a drug distribution service from 149 Canton St. over the last several months.

Stoughton detectives, Drug Enforcement Administration agents, the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council SWAT team, Norfolk County Sheriff’s Department deputies and Randolph police executed the search warrant about 4:45 p.m. Canton Street was closed in the area as police entered and searched the home.

“The home at 149 Canton St. sits on the very busy Route 27 so we had to take great precautions in the planning and execution of this entry,” said police Lt. John Bonney. “Canton Street was detoured during entry and remained closed for a short period of time.”

Detectives seized large amounts of drugs and cash while executing the search warrant, Bonney said, including fentanyl, heroin, xanax and suboxone.

Two residents of the home – Wizley Occivil (30 years old) and Michena Occivil (28) – were taken into custody, along with Donald Saladin, 25, of Stoughton and Henry Nelson, 27, of Brighton. All four were charged with various drug possession and distribution offenses, Bonney said.

“We would like to thank those agencies that assisted us this evening,” Bonney said. “If it were not for our amazing working relationships with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, these tasks would be impossible to complete.”

The home was a familiar location to police prior to the drug investigation, which began about three months ago. One of the residents, Michena Occivil, has been arrested by town police previously on drug charges. And the house was the site of a home invasion in March 2016, which resulted in the arrest of an Easton man the following year after police used DNA taken from the scene.

The investigation was ongoing as of Friday night.

“No one was hurt during the execution of this search warrant,” Bonney said. “We would also like to thank the members of our community for their patience and concern during this mission.”
