11 Apr Back to Back Search Warrant recovers more fentanyl in Red Lake
RED LAKE, Minn. (Valley News Live)- Over 50 grams of a controlled substance testing positive for fentanyl, $10,000 in cash, a hunting rifle, and a child were all found in the Red Lake community in the Littlerock District on Monday.
This is the 2nd search warrant served in the past two weeks where law enforcement seized fentanyl. This case was the result of an investigation conducted in conjunction with the Headwaters Safe Trails Task Force.
Scales related to drug sales and drug paraphernalia was also found in the home.
There were a total of 5 arrests made at the residence who are now facing charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful transportation of drug paraphernalia and child endangerment and the homeowners were additionally charged with disorderly house. The following people were arrested in this bust:
1. Chloe May Cook, Age 20
2. Randy Travis Lussier, Age 29
3. Kristy Leigh Lussier, Age 30
4. Tony Edward May, Age 60
5. Harlene Rose Spears, Age 56
Officers with the Red Lake Police Department say, they can’t stress enough the importance of seeking treatment for controlled substance abuse addictions. Adding, they will continue to fight this battle.
