“Let the Light Shine” is organized by the group “Moms Stop the Harm,” created by a Comox mother whose son fatally overdosed on fentanyl in 2017.

Anyone whose loved one is currently struggling with substance use is invited to join them at Jack Poole plaza at 7:30 p.m.

The vigil will feature a memorial made of flags and yarn representing thousands of overdose deaths Canada-wide.
