Four brothers arrested with fentanyl, $300,000 in Providence bust – News – providencejournal.com

Four brothers were arrested and 90 grams of fentanyl were seized as a result of an investigation by the Rhode Island State Police high intensity drug task force.

The task force was assisted by the federal Drug Enforcement Administration, Providence, and the Providence police department.

The state police also confiscated a handgun, ammunition and nearly $300,000 in cash.

The suspects were identified as Luis Miguel Molina, 23, of 19 Ocean St., Providence; Luis Armando Molina, 21, of 23 Babcock St., Providence; Luis Enrique Molina, 28, of 23 Babcock St., Providence; Luis Alberto Molina, 29, also of 23 Babcock St., Providence.

All four men are charged with manufacture, delivery and possession with intent to manufacture a schedule II controlled substance; manufacture, delivery and possession with the intent to manufacture or deliver one ounce to one kilogram of fentanyl; possession of a firearm while committing a controlled substance violation, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and controlled substance conspiracy.

Luis Miguel Molina and Luis Alberto Molina were also charged with violating the terms of their probation from previous convictions on second-degree robbery in Providence.

All of the suspects were arraigned in District Court, where they were held without bail.
