TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) – A man wanted on a fugitive warrant faces multiple drug charges following his arrest by authorities after a traffic stop.

Robert Dork was arrested Friday and booked into the Leon County Detention Center, the Leon County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post.

Dork was taken into custody after a Crime Stopper tip resulted in a response to a Meath Road address by the LCSO S.P.I.D.E.R. Unit, Vice Narcotics Unit and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

While conducting surveillance on the residence, Dork was seen in the area riding in an older model green Chevrolet truck.

During the traffic stop, authorities made contact with the driver, Timothy Simmons, and Dork.

After searching Dork, authorities found he had a digital scale containing methamphetamine residue and crystal methamphetamine.

Searching the vehicle, authorities found 27 grams of crystal methamphetamine and fentanyl. Dork admitted that the methamphetamine and fentanyl was his.

He also told deputies he had a firearm and other illegal narcotics at the residence on Meath Drive.

S.P.I.D.E.R. and Vice went to the residence and recovered a .22LR semi-automatic firearm and 92 grams of cannabis.

Based on the evidence, Dork was arrested for trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of cannabis more than 20 grams, possession of fentanyl, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to appear for possession of cocaine with intent to sell.
