Manchester brothers with gang ties indicted on new charges | Crime

MANCHESTER — Two brothers with  previously reported connections to a city street gang have been indicted on numerous charges, including rape, drug trafficking and weapons possession while on parole, according to recent indictments.

The indictments allege that Darrion Weekly, 24, conspired with others to sell drugs in January. In March, he allegedly held a woman at gunpoint and ordered her to remove her clothes, then allegedly sexually assaulted her.

Weekly was among dozens indicted earlier this month by a grand jury sitting at Hillsborough County Superior Court in Manchester.

According to Union Leader reports in 2016, Weekly and his brother, David, were members of the OTL street gang, a gang whose name designates their Orange to Laurel street turf.

Indictments list him as living at 93 Laurel St., Apt. 2, earlier this year. According to online information about New Hampshire State Prison inmates, Darrion Weekly had been imprisoned for about four years and reached his minimum parole date last August.

He was returned to state prison on March 19, just days after the rape-and-kidnapping related incident. He also faces three drug trafficking charges.

Manchester police said he was arrested on a federal warrant. The state indictments allege that on Jan. 30 he conspired with an “unknown male” to sell fentanyl and crack cocaine, and the male handed the drugs to a confidential informant working with Manchester police. On Jan. 25, Weekly allegedly sold crack cocaine to the confidential informant.

Weekly faces charges of aggravated felonious sexual assault, robbery, kidnapping and criminal threatening, stemming from incidents in March. He allegedly pointed a firearm at a woman, took money from her, demanded she disrobe and sexually assaulted her.

The Darrion Weekly indictments allege a co-defendant from the March crimes, Keenan Velasquez.

In March, a grand jury indicted Darrion Weekly’s brother, David, 23, on possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute. David’s address was listed as 27 Monroe St.

David had reached his minimum parole date in June 2018.  He was returned to state prison last January.
