Nine indicted by grand jury

Nine people were indicted in Brown County Common Pleas Court on April 1.

Mary Arvin, 30 and Christopher Darnell, 32 both of Georgetown are charged with multiple drug counts involving Hashish. Both are charged with two counts of Corrupting Another With Drugs, both first degree felonies; two counts of Trafficking in Hashish, one a third degree felony and one a fourth degree felony; one count of Possession of Hashish, a fifth degree felony; one count of Permitting Drug Abuse, a fifth degree felony; and five counts of Endangering Children, all first degree misdemeanors.

According to the indictment, Arvin and Darnell are accused of furnishing Hashish to two 16 year old individuals and “creating a substantial risk to the health or safety” of five children ranging from ten years to two months of age.

Melony Richardson, 26 Hamersville, is charged with Trespass in a Habitation, a fourth degree felony; Misuse of a 911 System, Aggravated Possession of Drugs, Possession of a Fentanyl Related Compound and Possession of Heroin, all fifth degree felonies; and two counts of Resisting Arrest, a second degree misdemeanor.

Bobby Hicks, 53 of Hamersville, is charged with Intimidation of an Attorney, Victim or Witness in a Criminal Case, a third degree felony.

James Beckett, Jr., 38 of Aberdeen, is charged with Having Weapons Under Disability, a third degree felony; Trafficking in Heroin and Trafficking in a Fentanyl Related Compound, both fourth degree felonies; and Permitting Drug Abuse, Trafficking in Heroin and Trafficking in a Fentanyl Related Compound, all fifth degree felonies.

Ashley Foster, 26 of Aberdeen, is charged with Trafficking in Heroin and Trafficking in a Fentanyl Related Compound, both fourth degree felonies; Trafficking in Heroin and Trafficking in a Fentanyl Related Compound, both fifth degree felonies and Permitting Drug Abuse, a fifth degree felony,

Marie Siciliano, 39 of Hamersville, is charged with Failure to Provide Notice of Change of Address, a fourth degree felony.

Joshua Fritz-Grubbs, 31 of Georgetown, is charged with Domestic Violence, a fourth degree felony.

Rebel Moler, 31 of Georgetown, is charged with Breaking and Entering and Theft From a Person in a Protected Class, both fifth degree felonies; and Receiving Stolen Property, a first degree misdemeanor.
