NEWARK – The following people were indicted for felony offenses in Licking County Common Pleas Court.

Charles R. Maynard, 37, last known address 421 Central Ave., Newark, was charged with one count aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

On Oct. 29, 2017, Maynard was suspected of having methamphetamine, according to the indictment.

Courtney S. Walter, 29, last known address 70330 8th St., Cambridge, was charged with two counts of aggravated possession of drugs, a fourth and a fifth-degree felony.

On Jan. 23, Water was suspected of having a fentanyl-related compound and methamphetamine, according to the indictment.

Lindsary S. Wahl, 42, last known address 196 Isabelle Road, Newark, was charged with one count aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

On Oct. 29, 2017, Wahl was suspected of having methylphenidate, according to the indictment.

Mark A. Bennett, 33, last known address 613 Glenbrook Dr., Apartment 21, Newark, was charged with one count of intimidation, a third-degree felony.

On May 24, Bennett was suspected of knowingly and by force, by unlawful threat of harm to any person or property, or by filing, recording or otherwise using materially false or fraudulent writing with malicious purpose, in bad faith, or in a wanton or reckless manor, attempting to influence, intimidate or hinder a public servant, party official or witness in the discharge of a person’s duty, according to the indictment.

Daniel M. Emerick, 59, last known address 79 Prospect St., Apartment D, Newark, was charged with one count of theft, a fifth-degree felony.

On May 24, Emerick was suspected of stealing property or services, according to the indictment.

Saren Leang, 40, last known address 12584 Claylick Road, Heath, was charged with one count aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

On Dec. 19, Leang was suspected of having methamphetamine, according to the indictment.

Anthony C. Hopper, 34, last known address 605 King Ave., Newark, was charged with one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

On March 24, Hopper was suspected of having methamphetamine, according to the indictment.

Nathan R. Lent, 35, last known address 158 S. 5th St., Newark, was charged with one count of theft, a fifth-degree felony.

Between March 1 to May 1, Lent was suspected of stealing property or services, according to the indictment.

Aaron M. Branham, 38, last known address 7203 York Road SW, Pataskala, was charged with one count aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

Between Feb. 13-14, Branham was suspected of having methamphetamine, according to the indictment.

Joseph A. Lewis, 24, last known address 210 Cedar St., Lot 108, Pataskala, was charged with one count each of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony; tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony; theft,  a fourth-degree felony; and possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

On Jan. 15, Lewis was suspected of having a fentanyl-related compound, on Jan. 28, Lewis was suspected of tampering with evidence, stealing property or services, and having Clonazepam, according to the indictment.

Renee E. Cantwell, 38, last known address 6621 North St., Granville, was charged with two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, both fourth-degree felonies.

On Oct. 2 and 31, Cantwell was suspected of having methamphetamine, according to the indictment.

Marjorie E. Mitchell, homeless, was charged with one count each assault, a fourth-degree felony; falsification, a first-degree misdemeanor; and resisting arrest, a first-degree misdemeanor.

On May 29, Mitchell was suspected of knowingly causing or attempting to cause physical harm to a peace officer while the officer was in the performance of his official duties, knowingly making a false statement or knowingly swearing or affirming the truth of a false statement previously made with purpose to mislead a public official in performing the public official’s official function, and recklessly or by force, resisting or interfering with a lawful arrest of defendant or another person and during the course of or as a result of the resistance or interference, causing physical harm to a law enforcement officer, according to the indictment.

Jeremiah C. Horton, 38, last known address 69 N. 10th St., Newark, was charged with one count of breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony.

On May 26, Horton was suspected of trespassing in an unoccupied structure by force, stealth or deception, with the purpose to commit therein any theft offense, according to the indictment.

Richard J. Stacy, 50, last known address 4887 Bixby Road, Groveport, was charged with one count each aggravated possession of drugs, a second-degree felony; and obstructing official business, a second-degree misdemeanor.

On May 25, Stacy was suspected of having methamphetamine and obstructing official business, according to the indictment.
