03 May Police: 117 packages of fentanyl seized in Binghamton raid
BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — A Binghamton man is facing several charges after police found more than 100 packages of fentanyl during a raid on the city’s west side.
Authorities say the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force seized the following items after executing a narcotics search warrant at 98 Crestmont Road on Friday.
- 117 individually packaged quantities of fentanyl
- 5.1 grams of unpackaged fentanyl powder
- 35 individually packaged quantities of crack cocaine, weighing 18.1 grams
- Drug packaging materials
- $484 in suspected drug sale proceeds
- Small quantity of marijuana
Binghamton police say 34-year-old Sean Dingle lives at the residence. He’s been charged with:
- Three counts, criminal possession of a controlled substance, third degree (intent to sell), class B felony
- Criminal possession of a controlled substance, third degree (over ½ ounce), class B felony
- Criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth degree (over 1/8 ounce), class B felony
- Two counts, criminally using drug paraphernalia, second degree, a misdemeanor

The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force includes members of the City of Binghamton Police Department, Broome County Sheriff’s Office, the Village of Endicott Police Department and the Village of Johnson City Police Department.
The Task Force was assisted by the Binghamton Police Patrol Division and NYS Corrections and Community Supervision.
