Police: Killingly woman arrested twice last week for narcotics arrested again – News – The Bulletin

KILLINGLY – A Killingly woman, who was arrested twice last week on narcotics charges, was arrested a third time Tuesday afternoon after police said she was in possession of 55 bags of Fentanyl at a traffic stop in Brooklyn.

At 5:08 p.m., police said members of the Troop D Quality of Life Task Force pulled over a vehicle on Allen Hill Road for speeding and having a cracked windshield.

Troopers conducting the stop identified the driver as Brittany Dauphinais, 24, of 20 Orange Street, police said.

During the stop, police said while interviewing Dauphinais, they saw several indicators of criminal activity and suspected narcotics were in the vehicle.

Troopers used a narcotics-detecting police dog to sniff Dauphinais, alerting troopers to her waistband area, police said.

According to police, she admitted having Fentanyl concealed on her person and turned over 55 bags of the drug to troopers.

Dauphinais was subsequently arrested without incident, police said, and transported to Troop D in Danielson for processing.

She was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with intent to sell.

Dauphinais was arrested twice last week on narcotics charges, having been arrested in Wauregan on June 24 after police said she was driving an unregistered vehicle without insurance with possession of Fentanyl and crack cocaine. She was arrested a second time on June 26, during a drug deal in Killingly, police said.

She was held on a $100,000 bond in her arrest Tuesday and is due in court Wednesday.
