18 Apr Pound Of Cocaine, Fentanyl Seized During Granite Shield Raid
CONCORD, NH — A New Hampshire woman with prior drug charges has been arrested after a Granite Shield narcotics investigation in the Lakes Region. Anjelica Olivo, 26, of Union Avenue in Laconia, was arrested on April 17, 2019, on warrants. Yesterday, members of the New Hampshire State Police Narcotics Investigations and Mobile Enforcement Units, along with members of the Laconia and Tilton police departments, and the New Hampshire Attorney General and Belknap County Drug Task Forces, issued a search warrant of Olivo’s residence in Laconia.
As investigators searched her home, Olivo was taken into custody on outstanding warrants for alleged drug dealing after a Granite Shield narcotics investigation conducted during the past few months, according to Sgt. James Norris of the NHSP.
“Evidence seized during this investigation included a handgun, over $16,000 in United States currency, approximately 180 grams of suspected fentanyl, approximately one pound of cocaine, Suboxone and ecstasy pills,” Norris alleged. “In addition to Olivo’s drug sales charges, charges of intent to distribute the aforementioned drugs will be forthcoming.”
Olivo was out on bail on a separate drug charge out of Salem and was held on $50,000 cash bail on the new charges. She’s scheduled to be arraigned in Belknap County Superior Court later today.
Norris commended the collaborative effort of the participating law enforcement agencies as being essential to bringing the investigation to a successful conclusion.
