WINCHESTER, Ind. – Police looking for a Randolph County woman who was the target of arrest warrants found her – along with fentanyl and meth, and a new co-defendant.

Union City police last week went to a home in the 700 block of West Division Street after being told 29-year-old Amy Gambill could be found there.

Given permission by the home’s occupant to search the premises, police said they encountered Gambill and Kerry Lee Meredith in an upstairs bedroom along with two plastic bags containing a total of 6.3 grams of meth, and another bag with 9.6 grams of meth, along with six syringes.

Gambill threw one of the syringes under a desk when officers entered the room, according to an affidavit.

She has been convicted of possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of a sryinge and visiting a common nuisance (three times).

Meredith, 27 – listed in court documents at Union City, Winchester, Richmond and Portland addresses – was released from the Randolph County jail on Monday because formal charges had not yet been filed.
