Sentences handed down for theft, forgery, drug charges | Local News

Abraham J. Gautreau Jr., 19, whose address is listed in sentencing documents as the Cheshire County jail, pleaded guilty to committing felony theft by unauthorized taking in Troy in July. According to sentencing documents, he stole a safe containing cash and personal items from someone’s home. He was sentenced to 12 months in jail, all suspended for five years, and credited for three days of time served. He was placed on probation for two years and ordered to pay $209.06 in restitution to his victim. He was ordered to have no contact with his victim and not to enter his property.

Others recently sentenced include:

Shawna Lazzaro, 23, of Swanzey pleaded guilty to two charges of forgery, a felony. According to sentencing documents, in Keene in March 2018, she illegally issued two checks drawn on the Mascoma Savings Bank account of someone identified as E.L.B. She received two consecutive sentences of 12 months in jail, both suspended for three years, and was credited for six days of time served. She was placed on probation for three years and ordered to pay $377 in restitution to Service Credit Union.

Michael Mooney, 41, whose address is listed in sentencing documents as the county jail, pleaded guilty to possessing crack cocaine and clonazepam, both felonies, in Fitzwilliam in February 2018. On the crack cocaine charge, he was sentenced to 12 months in jail, all suspended for five years, and credited for eight days of time served. He was placed on probation for three years and ordered to pay $434 in fines and penalties, all suspended for five years.

For possessing clonazepam, he was sentenced to one to two years in N.H. State Prison, all suspended for five years and concurrent with the previous sentence. He was ordered to pay $434 in fines and penalties, all suspended for five years.

Prosecutors dismissed a felony charge of possession of Suboxone.

Jeremiah J. Porter, 36, of Jaffrey pleaded guilty to possessing crack cocaine, a felony, in Jaffrey in June. He was sentenced to 12 months in jail and levied $434 in fines and penalties, all of which is suspended for five years. He was placed on probation for three years.

He also pleaded guilty to controlling a vehicle where heroin/fentanyl was found, a misdemeanor, in Rindge in September. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended for five years and consecutive to the previous sentence. He was ordered to pay $434 in fines and penalties, all suspended for five years.

Prosecutors dismissed a felony charge of possession of fentanyl and a felony charge of possession of an unspecified illegal drug.

Laurene C. Raney, 27, of Alstead pleaded guilty to possessing fentanyl in Keene in August. She was sentenced to 12 months in jail, all suspended for three years. She was placed on probation for two years and ordered to pay $620 in fines and penalties, half of which is suspended for three years.

She also pleaded guilty to violating her probation on a 2016 misdemeanor conviction for possessing marijuana in Alstead in August of that year. She was sentenced to six months in jail, all suspended for three years, and credited for two days of time served. Her sentence for possessing fentanyl is consecutive to this one.

Prosecutors dismissed felony charges of possession of heroin and buprenorphine and misdemeanor charges of possession of gabapentin and criminal trespass.
