Sunday Boredom Busters: April 28th

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO) — The El Riad Shrine Circus wraps up at the Sioux Falls Arena with two performances. Show times are at 12:30 p.m. & 5 p.m. Tickets are $10, free for children 12 and under.

Jurassic Quest features dozens of life-like dinosaur exhibits on display in the Expo Building at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds. The hours are from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is $22 dollars.

The Dennis Grave Memorial Race: Living Legends vs. Yung Guns is a benefit for Make-A-Wish South Dakota. The free event begins at 2 p.m. at Thunder Road in Sioux Falls and includes go-cart races, a chance to meet the drivers, commemorative souvenir sales and a silent auction.

Enjoy live music and memories during the Legends of Dakota Country Music Hall of Fame. The event begins at 2 p.m. at the American Legion in Sioux Falls.  Admission is $8.

Gourmet Guys is a cooking competition that raises funds for Active Generations. Sample food and enjoy complimentary beverages from 4:30 to 6:30  p.m. The cost is $45. Active Generations is located at 2300 West 46th Street in Sioux Falls.

Enjoy the action of Midwest All-Pro Wrestling at the Icon Lounge in downtown Sioux Falls. Doors open at 4 p.m. bell time is 5 p.m. Tickets are $15 and $20. 

Emily’s Hope: Paint the Skies is a celebration of the works of artist Emilty Groth, who died of fentanyl poisoning in May of 2018. Her artwork is on display in the Everist Gallery of the Washington Pavilion through June 2nd. Sunday’s hours are from noon to 5 p.m.  

Films playing at the Wells Fargo CineDome at the Washington Pavilion include Backyard Wilderness and America’s Musical Journey.

New in theaters this weekend, the much-anticipated  Avengers: Endgame, rated PG-13.
