Two arrested in months-long Quincy drug investigation – News – The Patriot Ledger, Quincy, MA

QUINCY — Two men are facing drug charges after a three month long investigation by the Quincy Police Drug Control Unit into a drug trafficking organization.

Leurys A. Feliz, 38, of Quincy and a Boston man police said was using a fake identity were arraigned in Quincy District Court Wednesday. Feliz is facing a fentanyl trafficking and conspiracy to violate drug laws charges and was held on $100,000 bail. The Boston man is facing charges of identity fraud and use of a stolen or fraudulent RMV document and was held without bail pending his identification. Quincy Police said that Boston Police will file charges against the Boston man for trafficking fentanyl and cocaine.

Police executed search warrants on both men’s homes and found 39 grams of fentanyl, a powerful opioid cousin to heroin, 23 grams of cocaine and nearly $16,000 in cash.

Feliz lives at 16 Hall Place in Quincy where police recovered about 22 grams of fentanyl on Tuesday. The Boston man lives in the Hyde Park neighborhood of the city at 204 Neponset Valley Parkway where police recovered about 23 grams of cocaine and 17 grams of fentanyl.

A criminal complaint was filed at Quincy District Court charging Mr. Feliz’s girlfriend, and resident of 16 Hall Place with trafficking fentanyl and conspiracy to violate drug laws. Police declined to name her.
