Police said Friday they hope they have made a major dent in the Lakes Region drug trade after a raid this week resulted in the arrest of a woman who police said was a significant drug dealer.Anjelica Olivo, 26, was arrested in Laconia and is facing several drug-related charges, including being a drug enterprise leader. “Our intelligence reflects that that is just what she is, to the extent that she is a significant individual for trafficking in Belknap County,” said state police Lt. Christopher Roblee.Police said that over the course of the investigation, they seized a handgun, $16,000 and large amounts of fentanyl and cocaine. According to court records, Olivo told police she was one of the bigger drug dealers in Laconia and hasn’t had a job in about two years.Neighbor Alan Hawley was in his apartment when police conducted the raid.”I was in my house with a friend and the lights went out, and we looked out the window and there were all kinds of cops in the driveway, and they were out back searching one of the apartments,” he said.Police said they were lucky to be able to get Olivo off the streets.”Anyone who’s dealing fentanyl at this stage of the game is a dangerous person, because all you need is 2 grams of fentanyl, and that’s a lethal dose,” Roblee said.Olivo is being held without bail.
