Woman faces 20 felony charges

One defendant, Ashlea E. Burks, 37, most recently of 527 Woodland Ave., Willard, faces 20 felonies.

She is charged with six counts of burglary in connection with incidents from Jan. 1 through 18; Jan. 22; Jan. 25; Nov. 18 through Feb. 1; Feb. 13; Aug. 1 through 31; and Feb. 8 through 21. If convicted, she could be required to forfeit a 2016 Dodge Durango to the state.

Burks also was indicted on three counts of identity fraud in connection with incidents on Nov. 16, Jan. 22 and 24; four charges of theft stemming from incidents on Jan. 25, 22, Feb. 13 and from Aug. 1 through Feb. 21; and two counts of theft of drugs in connection with an incident from Aug. 1 through 21.

She also faces one count each of: Theft from a person in a protected class in connection with an incident from Nov. 18 through Feb. 1; attempted burglary (Feb. 9 through 12); grand theft of a firearm (a .380 Smith & Wesson from Aug. 1 through 21); and possession of suboxone (Feb. 21)

The other defendants who were indicted Friday are:

• Jonathon T. Bryant, 28, most recently of 304 W. Pearl St., Willard, on two counts of receiving property and one charge of possessing drug abuse instruments, all in connection with a Jan. 25 incident. If convicted of receiving property, he could be required to forfeit a 9 mm Smith & Wesson to the state. 

• Amy M. Copsey, 32, most recently of 25-A Gallup Ave., on two counts of engaging in a pattern of corrupt behavior in connection with an incident from Dec. 3 through Jan. 28. She also was charged with one count each of: Aggravated trafficking in drugs, aggravated possession of methamphetamine, permitting drug abuse and possessing criminal tools, all stemming from a Jan. 28 incident. If convicted of some of the drug charges, Copsey could be required to forfeit four cell phones, digital scales with suspected residue, an HP laptop, a pink notebook tablet, portable radio scanner and Ziploc bags to the state.

• Jacob T. Frost, 27, most recently of 617 Dewey St., Bellevue, on intimidation in connection with an incident from Nov. 18 through 19.

• Linda D. Gibson, 66, most recently of 304 W. Pearl St., Willard, on permitting drug abuse and possession of a fentanyl-related compound, both in connection with a Feb. 3 incident.

• Brian K. Harlow, 37, most recently of 22 Welton Ave., on carrying a concealed weapon and resisting arrest, both in connection with a June 10 incident.

• Joshua N. Kuras Jr., 27, most recently of Clyde, on failure to provide notice of his change of address in connection with an incident from Jan. 3 though March 8 and failure to verify his address stemming from a Feb. 17 incident. His indictment indicates he was convicted of attempted rape July 1, 2013 through Sandusky County Common Pleas Court.

• Tobias Marin, 26, who reported being homeless, on aggravated possession of drugs, possessing drug abuse instruments and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, all in connection with an Oct. 26 incident.

• Samantha J. Reed, 27, most recently of 15 Fruen St., on aggravated possession of dugs and possessing drug abuse instruments, both in connection with a Jan. 19 incident.

• Jeremy D. Robinson, 27, on trafficking in heroin and trafficking in controlled substances, both in connection with a Jan. 9 controlled drug buy reportedly in the vicinity of a school.

• Robert A. Spears, 38, most recently of 397 Plymouth St., Plymouth, on three counts of interception of wire, oral or electronic communications and one charge of possessing criminal tools, all in connection with a Nov. 8 incident.

• Eddie D. Tackett Jr., 29, most recently of 604 Dale Ave., Willard, on three counts of trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound in connection with controlled drug buys on Feb. 10, 7 and 15 reportedly in the vicinity of a school. He also was charged with trafficking in controlled substances stemming from a Feb. 15 controlled drug buy reportedly near a school or juvenile.

• Anthony J. Warner, 43, most recently of 15 Ford Ave., on tampering with evidence in connection with a March 7 incident.

• Joshua A. Whitaker, 31, most recently of 15 Ford Ave., on aggravated possession of dugs and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, both in connection with a March 7 incident.
