YARMOUTH – From Yarmouth Police: On Monday, December 31, 2018 at approximately 11:00 AM, the Yarmouth Police Department Proactive Anti-Crime Unit (PACU) conducted a motor vehicle stop on Long Pond Drive in South Yarmouth for traveling at 47 miles per hour in a posted 25 miles per hour zone.

The operator was identified as Michael C. Dietrick, 29, of Hyannis and was found to be in possession of 25 grams of the deadly drug Fentanyl. Also seized was $953.00 in cash.

Dietrick was booked at Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters on charges of trafficking fentanyl and possession of a Class B substance (fentanyl). He was later transported to the Barnstable District Court Monday afternoon for his arraignment.
