A Keyport man was sentenced to 10 years in prison Monday for supplying the fentanyl and heroin that killed a 29-year-old Aberdeen man and a 26-year-old Old Bridge woman.

Terrill Spann, 30, pleaded guilty to two counts of strict liability for a drug-induced death in Middlesex County Superior Court in October. Each count carried a possible term of 20 years in prison, but the state Attorney General’s Office recommended two 10-year sentences that will run concurrently under a plea agreement.

The sentence includes 8 and a half years of parole ineligibility.

Spann admitted that he supplied the drugs that killed Wayne Cameron Jr., 29, of Aberdeen Township, found dead in his bedroom Aug. 3, 2017 and Gabriella Guidetti, 26, of Old Bridge, found dead in her bedroom Aug. 19, 2017.

Guidetti died of a fentanyl overdose and Cameron of heroin and fentanyl. For news on the opioid epidemic, scroll to the video above.
