MARION — A Marion County grand jury indicted at least 19 people on felony charges Wednesday.

A superseding indictment was filed Wednesday against Dustin L. Britton, 37, who was originally charged last year with one count of involuntary manslaughter, a first-degree felony, in connection to the March 2018 overdose of a 34-year-old man that turned fatal.

The superseding indictment adds two more charges against Britton: two counts of corrupting another with drugs, both second-degree felonies. He also faces a charge of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, in Marion County Common Pleas Court.

The grand jury also returned indictments against the following people:

• Onaje T. Kelly, 23, an inmate incarcerated at a state prison, on two counts of felonious assault, both second-degree felonies, and one count of possession of a deadly weapon while under detention, a second-degree felony.

• Tim Price, 22, of Marion, on one count of burglary, a second-degree felony.

• Daniel J. Norton, 29, of Marion, on one count of burglary, a second-degree felony, and one count of menacing by stalking, a fourth-degree felony.

• Johnny R. Russell, 42, of Marion, on one count of tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony, and on one count of possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony.

• Brandon Alexander, 38, of Michigan, on one count of possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, and one count of identity fraud, a fifth-degree felony.

• Michel L. Anderson, Jr., 48, of Marion, on one count of theft, a fifth-degree felony.

• William W. Clark, Jr., 51, of Marion, on one count of possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony.

• Amanda L. Cox, 30, of East Liberty, Ohio, on one count of theft, a fifth-degree felony, and two counts of forgery, both fourth-degree felonies.

• Trae C. Damron, 25, of Marion, on one count of possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony, and one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

• William A. Defalco, 30, an inmate currently incarcerated in a prison in Lucasville, and Jeremy M. Sax, 40, an inmate currently incarcerated in a prison in Lebanon, each on one count of possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony.

• Edward A. Finchman, 44, of Marion, on one count of possession of fentanyl, a fifth-degree felony.

• Benjamin P. Kinney, 40, and Christina M. Kinney, 37, both of Marion, each on one count of breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony, and on one count of possessing criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony.

• Donald L. Morgan, 39, of Marion, on one count of possession of fentanyl, a fifth-degree felony.

• Steven E. Price, 49, of Marion, on one count of possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony.

• James T. Skaggs, 36, of Marion, on three counts of receiving stolen property, all fifth-degree felonies. The indictment alleges that Skaggs had three stolen checks.
