Seven more ‘Operation Save Milton’ arrests made | Local News

HARRISBURG — Seven more people were arrested in “Operation Save Milton” bringing the total to 29 individuals accused of running a million dollar drug outfit across the Susquehanna Valley.

This time, U.S. Attorney David Freed held a press conference at the Dauphin County Courthouse and announced Julio “Fobo” Landro-Cartagen, 40; Jeremmy Trillo-Gelpi, 23; Joan “Marie” Trinta, 33; Jonathan “Jungee” Trinta, 23; Adrian “Nelsito” Ortiz-Diaz, 23; Luis Jose “Luisito” Alicea-Solice, 24; and Efrain Correa Lopez, 22, all of the Harrisburg area, were named in the third indictment in less than a month.

Freed said heroin and fentanyl suppliers are among those charged in U.S. Middle District Court. “We charged everyone from main distributors to the people selling on the street,” Freed said. “We believe we have decimated this organization.”

Freed said the U.S. Attorney’s Office along with Valley law enforcement and the Attorney General’s Office is targeting the people who are causing deaths by delivery.

Ortiz-Diaz, Alicea-Solice and Correa Lopez were also charged with selling drugs to three people who overdosed and died.

Two of those fatal overdoses occurred in Mechanicsburg and the other in Elizabethtown, Freed said. Freed said he believed there were more deaths as a result of the organization but he did not have enough evidence to add charges.

Freed held a press conference three weeks ago in Milton when he announced 22 Valley residents were charged in dealing cocaine, heroin and fentanyl.

Freed said he expects more arrests to be made in the coming weeks and said law enforcement continues to “climb the ladder” until it reaches the top of drug rings.

Dauphin County District Attorney Fran Chardo said Valley district attorneys and law enforcement are all working as a team. ‘We work together and we all are doing what is in the best interest of justice,” he said.
